Wrapped Print Series
This body of work explores a visual dialogue between the human consciousness and the dream state. The state of a dream is not limitless; there are boundaries that come to being even in your subconscious. For example, the feeling of falling and an awareness of gravity is common in a dream. Your subconscious cannot completely escape the realms of reality and in your dreams it follows you.
I use wrapped forms to illustrate the hold reality has on the figures in the dream. The forms are as ambiguous as our subconscious, but unable to escape the confinement of reality. The figures are bound by their inability to let go even in dreams.
